The 19th Amphi Festival is set to return to Cologne’s Tanzbrunnen on July 19 and 20, 2025, bringing together fans of dark music from across the globe. This year, the festival will take place a week earlier than usual, promising an unforgettable weekend for enthusiasts of goth rock, dark electro, NDH, aggrotech, dark wave, and other subgenres. With an expected crowd of 12,500 attendees and performances by 40 bands and solo artists, Amphi Festival continues to be a cornerstone event for the black scene music community.

Headliners and Iconic Acts

Leading the lineup for the first time is Lord Of The Lost, a band that has seen meteoric growth in popularity over the last decade. Joining them are scene veterans VNV Nation, led by Ronan Harris, and Anne Clark, who makes a triumphant return after a twelve-year hiatus following her recovery from cancer. Anne Clark’s inclusion has already sparked excitement among long-time festival-goers. Another notable comeback is Klangstabil, who last performed at Amphi in 2014 and recently wowed audiences at NCN Festival in Deutzen.

Other legendary acts include Die KruppsOomph!Camouflage, and Suicide Commando. These veterans promise to deliver electrifying performances that will resonate with both new fans and seasoned attendees.

The Orbit Stage, located on the inner deck of the ship, will feature performances by emerging artists such as Swedish electro powerhouse Rein, Turkish dark-wave duo Ductape, Swedish group Abu Nein, and Australian project Skynd. These debut performances are sure to add fresh energy to the festival’s dynamic atmosphere.
