The band around Nine Inch Nails’ ex-guitarist returns with new music and a European tour!
The history of industrial rock band Filter actually began before the group actually existed, as frontman Richard Patrick absorbed vast experience and influences from buddy Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). The two met in a Cleveland music store, sealed their friendship and Patrick eventually became NIИ’s guitarist between 1989 and 1993.
When he left the band, he founded Filter. Cult hits such as “Hey Man Nice Shot” and “Take a Picture” helped define the sound of the alternative 1990s. Meanwhile, Richard Patrick made some creative sidesteps with, among others, the supergroup Army Of Anyone and as a writer and producer of film music, but this year he returns with Filter with new music!(source Trix)
