W-Festival is thrilled to announce Adam Ant as the headliner for Saturday, August 24. With only four previous performances in Belgium over 46 years, Adam Ant’s rare appearances promise an unforgettable experience. His illustrious career, from his Sex Pistols days to chart-topping albums and iconic MTV presence, makes him a true rock ‘n roll legend.
Friday, August 23, will transport festival-goers back to the ’90s with hit-packed sets from Jenny Berggren of Ace of Base, 2 Unlimited, Snap!, Culture Beat, C+C Music Factory, and closing act Adamski.
Additionally, Thomas Dolby will make an exclusive mainland Europe appearance, marking only his third show in Belgium. From his groundbreaking performance in 1984 to his 2012 show at Ancienne Belgique, Thomas Dolby’s return promises a night of musical magic.
With such legendary headliners and exclusive performances, W-Festival 2024 is gearing up to be an unforgettable celebration of music and nostalgia.
eXTC, Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Diary of Dreams, Chameleons, Twin Tribes, Then Comes Silence, Star Industry, Girls under Glass, Hugh Cornwell, Vomito Negro, Der Klinke, Auger, The Underground Youth, The Blockheads, Skids & Splendidula will headline Batcave Live, a three-day event catering to punk, new wave, gothic, EBM, and electro fans.
Chameleons, a standout Manchester band from the 80s, will close the event with classics like “In Shreds” and “Second Skin” on Sunday, Aug. 25.
DJ sets featuring new wave & synthpop tunes will complement the performances.
