Only concert in Belgium! Soft Cells frontman is back!
Marc Almond gained worldwide fame as a frontman in the 1980s with Soft Cell. Everyone knows the dance classic ‘Tainted Love’. The single is from the debut album ‘Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret’. ‘Bedsitter’and ‘Say Hello, Wave Goodbye’ were also hits. Further albums and singles were released including ‘Torch’ and the cover ‘Where Did Our Love Go’. Soft Cell colored the flavor of the early 1980s. In 1983, the band disbanded and Marc Almond began a very interesting solo artistic career.
Marc Almond explored different musical genres, darting from acoustic music to great orchestrated music or electronic music, each time with a penchant for chanson and theatrical pop. The big hits from this period include ‘Something’s Gotta Hold of My Heart,’ ‘Days of Pearly Spencer,’ ‘Jackie,’ ‘Tears Run Rings’ …
Titled ‘Chaos and The Hits Tour,’ Marc Almond returns to the stage with songs from his latest albums, but the hits won’t be missing from the playlist either. It will be the only concert in Belgium! He is celebrating his 65th birthday.
