W-festival 2023 : with the last 2 names our line-up is complete !
On Saturday we have WET WET WET in store for you. Finally, because we have been angling for this world-famous Scottish band since the start of W-festival. So we are very excited – and no doubt you are too – to see them exclusively on our stages!
On Sunday, none other than THE CARDIGANS honor us with their presence! After their last concert at the AB (Brussels) in 2006, the Swedes will perform exclusively in Belgium at W-festival 2023! So this will be a performance not to be missed!
W-festival 2023 will be another edition to savour! Be part of our family and come to the beach of Ostend from August 25 to 27!

After our call last month, more than 5,000 people voted and eventually the following “winners” emerged: China Crisis & Time Bandits were added to the PGS Main Stage & Lavvi Ebbel (see lower) will perform Sunday on the Batcave Stage.
While new wavers, EBM lovers and Goth adepts indulge in the BATCAVE stage with old heroes and new talents, from Fields of the Nephilim over Project Pitchfork to Cold Cave, the PGS Stage will be one for thumbs and fingers to lick off. A feast for any straight-up 80s fan!
Featuring our most festive lineup ever on Friday:
The grandiose ‘Björn Again’ opens the festival at 2pm, the perfect warm-up for what’s to come. China Crisis, A Flock Of Seagulls and Midge Ure (ex Ultravox), together good for a full juke-box of sing-along hits continue the party and the live closing act, VILLAGE PEOPLE, will let you go crazy next!
At 10 p.m. the PGS Stage closes its doors and for those who can’t get enough there’s THE BATCAVE DJ stage where partying can continue into the early hours!
On Saturday, quality takes center stage:
We open with the Dutch Time Bandits, followed by then Earth, Wind & Fire (Experience by Al McKay) and Nik Kershaw. In the eve follow the Scottish hit machine Wet Wet Wet and the German Nena who surprised us all in 2021 with a dike of a concert and finally (20h55) – by popular demand! – THE HUMAN LEAGUE!
The final day will be one to remember and that will be thanks to, among others, the opener Bow Wow Wow and a real afternoon headliner: Genesis (Classic) featuring Ray Wilson – one of the unsurpassed lead singers of this mythical band! Expect an avalanche of all of Genesis’ classic hits! Then after seven years back in our country from Sweden The Cardigans, as penultimate there is Natalie Imbruglia and the festival is then closed by OMD.
And also on Saturday and Sunday THE BATCAVE continues to provide you with the best tunes during and after the LIVE performances!
